Steven Clements, President

I started working in the warehouse of Ben Clements and Sons, Inc., my family’s business, while still in high school and continued to work there while studying business at the University of Maryland. Upon graduation I was asked to join the company and started working in our customer service department and moved up within the organization.


Over the years, I worked hard to build up our machinery division including our twist tie products. In 1996 when we introduced our tape and label dispensers and applicators product lines, I helped build our product line, distribution channel and sales team while still supporting our core products.


I am currently the owner and President of Ben Clements and Sons, Inc. and am proud to continue my family’s legacy of supplying Tach-It products to our distribution channel. I work with our management and sales teams to understand our customer’s needs and find new products, locate market niches and support new applications.


Dorcas Richmond-David

Vice President – Business Development


Dorcas Richmond David is currently the Vice President at Ben Clements & Sons. Prior to Ben Clements & Sons, Dorcas worked 21 years for Sony Chemicals then bought by DNP. During this time, she had roles in Sales and Sales Management. In total she has over 22 years’ experience in the packaging industry. Before packaging, she worked in the LTL and small package industry for UPS. Receiving a promotion about, once a year during her five years. She started out in Customer Service moved into sales to a sales trainee position, Account Executive position, Senior Account Executive and finally moved into a Sales Management position.


She has attended many structured training programs including Dale Carnegie Course, Managers Leadership School, Supervisors Leadership School, Valuing Diversity Course, Account Executive School, also many computer courses including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.


She loves to solve customers problems by finding the right solution. You will find her to be a good listener and very responsive.


Jim Lyon
